I'm proud, I remember when blacks couldn't even play professional baseball or basketball!!!

I remember being lectured by my dad after I brought home a black classmate for dinner.

I remember standing on the side of the road with my parents and brothers waiting for the Limo with President Kennedy to drive by, and recalling the excitement of the throngs standing out on the cold rainy day in Seattle.

I just hope we can repair relations with other countries again, and hope our two parties can work together (somewhat).

I also hope this gives kids hope... Actually I know it has already, my son who is 20 had a friend killed in Iraq, and my kid and his school mates were thrilled to vote for "change".

Maybe things will improve financially over the course of the next 4 years, and there will be fewer people dying needlessly.
