I know that this would have been asked before so please excuse me as I am new to this forum.

I have previously owned a Pronto & have now purchased a ProntoPro. I am not overly wrapped with it & I was wondering how an IPAQ compares?

I would be interested in hearing from people who have used both. I am a bit disapointed with the display on the ProntoPro & feel that the IPAQ screen would be far superior.

Can the IPAQ & its software use more than 256 colors or are you limited as with the ProntoPro? I was thinking about getting the top of the range IPAQ with bluetooth. Is the IR range for this sufficent for practical use? What are the downsides of using a PDA instead of the ProntoPro?
