I believe this is partly pdawin's implementation of PE and partly the fact that the animation (movement of the tabs) is in the Pronto's firmware, and NOT a part of the ccf. On a Marantz, you can turn device and macro tabs off (on the remote, not in the software), but this is not available on the Pronto series, so there aren't any configuration options.
