If your techno savvy then you could get the palm to control your AV and tweak it. If you want to simply enjoy your home entertainment system, have the palm to organize your schedule and have a universal remote like the pronto to control your AV.

Unless Palm will be designed for RC purposes (increase IR transmit power, increase pages etc) then get something like pronto.

Me, i have pen and notebook to organize my schedule, have a computer to organize my e-mails, and recently got a pronto to control my AV. Make everything simple and enjoy life's little pleasures.

Anyway, i thank the people who are explaining how can a palm pilot can be used as a remote controller. So other people who are more interested to maximize the use of their palm can have a choice.
