O.K., here is what I found:
Nothing.
That is to say, nothing obviously abberant. Total Remote has four profiles for SciAt cable boxes, and each of them produces very stable and consistent output. Two of the four profiles use a very fast type of signal, but well within Total Remote's capabilities and they always appear to transmit the same bit pattern every time.
So, I am stuck. Lacking any SciAt gear I cannot begin to guess at what the problem might be. It could be that the TR profiles all contain bad codes, but without a SciAt remote control I cannot compare and contrast. It could be TR has good codes and is somehow transmitting them wrong, but I consider this pretty unlikely since the 2.1.333 update where we spent a LOT of time making sure signals came in and went out at the correct timings, and as I said the four profiles TR has all transmit very consistently.
Anyone have any thoughts?
