Is it even possible to make CCFs with VGA-resolution screens (480x640)?

Assuming Total Remote could support such a VGA-CCF, would this VGA-CCF be usable in ANY other remote, such as TVRC or the Pronto?

Wouldn't such VGA-CCFs be monstrously large, to the point of near-unusability? Consider not only the many megabytes needed, but also the considerable time needed to decode and display the images.

Please consider [Link: remotecentral.com] and give me an opinion on the MASS MARKET need for Total Remote to support these deviant devices. Also consider that one of only two vendors of such crap appears to have vanished without a trace, so there will be ever fewer of these things on the market.
