I do not think that you are doing anything wrong, it just seems to be the way that TR is handling cetain types of IR code. Try editing the hex code manually, getting rid of repeats, cleaning up the code etc, also changing leadin/out times can sometimes help. Otherwise it is just a matter of time until Don gets the learning fully sorted for all code types
