Got a tv here with a "limited functionality" remote, JVC Mastercommand, and what I have is channel up, ch-dwn, vol-up, vol-down, and power.

I used a PDA with omniremote to capture the codes from the remote, and that works fine; ie., I can export to notepad (looks like a long string of number, the IR code), and re-import after clearing the original data, and the codes work fine (no sampling rate problems).

Only thing is, this TV has 6 buttons on the front, with the same features I just listed (ch up/dwn, vol up/dwn, pwr and funct.), and it only seems to have auto-scanned about 4 channels, and none of them are good.

So, I need the Pronto codes for the autoscan key, and the important other keys are the zero and three, or the zero and four number keys. It would be nice to have the full set of keys for this television, but if you have a JVC Master console (24", I believe), if you could capture "0" and "3" for me in Pronto, I would appreciate it, because then I could use the tv.

I have researched this matter for several weeks before asking; I've checked the internet, and I've also checked the codes here, and the codes under "/cgi-bin/jvc" where there is a "Mastercommand" TV listed, but those codes don't work for me.

To match your database, here is part of the header that I captured, for the power key for my tv:

0000 0069 0034 0000 014F 009B 0019 003C 0019 0037

I've check some programs, read FAQs, including the general FAQ on IR codes (how they are put together), and I'm kind of feeling like Whiley-Coyote with that annoyed look on his face at the end of the cartoon, trying all these different things. I've used Tonto (nice name) and a few other programs to fiddle around with these codes, but the codes for this remote are too long.

Yes, I've heard that you can optimize the codes (compress the captured strings), but that doesn't really help unless you have the right string to begin with, and besides, it would only be helpful to recognize similar codes, but the header shouldn't change too much anyway.

Anyway, I would appreciate the pronto codes for 0 and 3 for the JVC C-2030 if you could please. Thanks in advance.
