There's a lot of pre-setup for the IR Library, but as mentioned the actual learning process is fantastic. About the only niggle I had was some problems learning my receiver's codes -- about 10 of them strangely ended up as "pulse", while another 10 or so wouldn't work at all (about a third of those would work if I held the button down for three seconds). I tried a different learning process - no go. Tried learning from another remote and they finally worked. Only had this with my receiver through!

The whole software package really is refined -- it's a pleasure to work with (but as always there's a few things that could be optimized over time).
