I am contemplating getting the IRF-6, but will not get it past my lovely wife if I have to mount an antenna in plain view, or run a cable along a wall somewhere. Basically, my only available option is behind my RPTV stand, which is 13" high and sits in a corner.

Will I still get a reasonable RF reach with the antenna behind the stand?
