I've read some on the list are having display problems on the T2. My brand new T2 had a dark line through the display and I did not want to wait for service. I noticed that slight pressure to the case of the remote near the line would clear the display. I disassembled the case and found that the display was slightly loose from the pcb it rides on. I careful bending/tightening of the metal tabs that hold it in place solved the problem. I wouldn't attempt it unless you are comfortable working with small delicate electronics, but it was only a 15 minute repair.
