Does anyone here have experience using RTI to send commands to an HAI panel? I want to use an RP6 (eventually XP8) to send serial commands to an Omni LT to arm/disarm the security and possibly to set heat/cool setpoints on the connected thermostat. I generally don't do RS-232 since it's not two way, but this is a little different than I'm used to. Can RTI even send ASCII commands? In the event that this is not possible, what thermostats have people here used with success wired directly to a RTI controller? Aprilaire? HAI? I appreciate any help I can get on this. I've been reading this forum for some time and always find a ton of great info. Keep up the good work!
