Just right click on a button, choose edit properties, click infrared tab and turn frequency to 0. Or better yet open the Library Manager, open the Sony 777 es remote file, duplicate it with a new name and then modify all of the carrier frequencies. That will make it easier each time you need to do this.
I always love the term "strip the code", not to be mean, I remember way back when when other audio professionals would use this term just to make me feel stupid and that I could never understand this. I just tell others that all you need to do is turn the carrier freq to zero.
We all have to start somewhere.
