I see that you can set the active state of a button to
whatever color you choose. However, this only lasts for
as long as the macro takes to run and then it reverts
back to the in-active color. It would be great if you
had the option to keep the buttons active color set until
another button is pressed so you can easily identify what
source is currently playing.

Change your normal color to the color you want that button to be when it's selected.

By the way, it's "revert to" not Revert Back to". Sorry, one of my pet peeves.

You should also have the ability to set an option for
a button (for example vol+ and vol-) where you don't need
to change the active state color of that button and also
don't want to change the current button (i.e. your source
button) to inactive by pressing this button.

Thats the way my RK1-8's work. all buttons are cream, Active sources are blue. Vol +/- goes red when pressed, back to cream when released.

You need to create a new page for each source button, then change it's properties to be whatever normal color you want it to be when active.

As far as what I woudl like on the RK1 I want 2 way RS232 so when the system is off (or a flag is set and released), the active source can turn off and go to a background state, like in every other keypad system. Also a press and hold so one press turns off a zone, a long press runs a macro.
