I don't mind the seperate need for on then the input command on the marantz units. Compared to the Harmons where they have odd ball surround settings with no discretes to fix it.
But unlike Denon I can send the Marantz the same input command several times and it doesn't drop the sound and image for several seconds. Discrete access to all surround modes...
Macros look like this On Marantz Delay .1 DVD Marantz something else like TV input DPL II Movie Marantz(It will flip to DD or dts on its own) Something like power on for DVD Delay .1 DVD Delay .1 DPLII Movie
If the receiver is on, the input jumps almost instantly. If the receiver is off the repeats of the codes later in the macro get teh unit to the right input and sound field. BTW there is no .3 between codes.
