If i remember correctly the @G\r is only needed once, It will then stay in communications mode until it sees the @Q\r . So make the @G\r the first string of your power on macro and @Q\r the last string of your off macro. then all of your tv commands will not need the @G\r allowing you to do a repeat until released on the volume commands.

I have not tried it but it should work.
