i have used cat5 at distances well over 100' with the cm232s. if you are concerned try running a shielded 22/4 which will improve range and reduce noise. If it is just a TV then there wont be many packets being sent and you shouldn't have any problems with it. I would say if your run is less then 150' but I would run a spare 22/4 shielded just in case if you are worried about it.
