Hi JohnMark - I've got a 4ES and a MX-700. I've tried almost all the things you've tried with the same result - no joy on the DSP modes but thankfully, the scroll works (MODE+/MODE-). The 2CH, Normal Surround, Direct Input etc. all seem to work, just not the sound fields (DSP) direct codes. I'd also be very interested if you have any success.

I did find another link in a post that you could take a look at which is
