If you're talking about the problem of the MX being able to send only one command of a repeated set such as pressing up twice but MCE only accepting it once there's a known fix for this. There's a MS PowerToy that was released that enables a universal remote control by turning off debounce. After installing the PowerToy ([Link: msmvps.com]) set the universal remote section to 0 (zero). That fixed it for me and now my MX-500 is working perfectly. Alternatively there's a registry change you can make but I can't find it right now and besides, the PowerToy takes care of it you anyways.
