So RobZ, would you guess that my MX-3000 isn't "broken" really and that this is simply a feature of the remote?

I know for sure I learned a few commands from this component a few weeks ago and they seemed to work fine. That's why I'm thinking something must have happened, but who knows. I'll probably call URC on Tuesday and see what they say. In the meantime I'll try learning from all my other remotes again and make sure that they are at least reliable. If I'm getting hit/miss with all the other remotes, I'll be thinking something may be wrong with my MX-3000.
