Well, at first I didn't think it was working with any of my original remotes, but now it seems to be OK with all but one, my Sony HS10 projector. I replaced its batteries and it didn't help. I learned commands from this in the past without any problems, and the original remote works fine to control the projector.

Also, even though the other remotes seem to teach OK, it's kind of hit or miss. It seems more picky than it ever was and fails to learn quite a bit.

Mike, when it fails with the HS10, it basically just times out. It's as if it doesn't see the IR at all, or doesn't recognize it. I believe Sony uses a fairly common 40kHz carrier.
