I currently have a LeapFrog wireless video transmitter with a built-in IR extender. The audio/video transmission works well enough, but I need something more sophisticated in terms of IR/RF control. I am looking at one of the URC IR/RF models, since I'm already accustomed to the layout (MX-500 user).

Has anyone tried to use an RF remote in conjunction with one of these devices? Will the presence of this other IR/RF extender interfere with the remote's IR/RF signals? There doesn't seem to be any way to turn off the IR extender function on the LeapFrogs...?
