You could probably do a version of this with variables (different variables such as "From DVD" "From Tivo" etc). The only way I can get this to work is by nesting macros, however.
Are nested macros allowed in the MX950? As I recall, they didn't work in the MX700.
Getting way too close to talking myself into trying an MX-950...
