I read through this forum and did not notice if

I am having trouble with the learned codes too.
When i teach my 850 a code, it will work once,
then subsequent presses do not even trigger the
ir transmit icon on the remote, let alone create
the desired function.
Any help would be nice.
I have this problem with a sony kp-46wt500. the
default code for the wide mode toggle only takes
it to the wide zoom mode. When i "learned" the
850 that button from the sony remote, i get the
above result. I also have the same problem when
teaching the codes from my USDTV remote (a local
HDTV subscription service provider).
I solved all my learing code probs, (except the sony discrete auido), by learning with the 850 disconnected from the PC - this enabled me to catch auto repeat codes and a couple of key combos from my IR keyboard for my HTPC.
Once you have learned the codes then connect the 850 to your PC and Up-Load rather than Down-Load the config.
