I have a Pioneer HTZ-55DV home theatre system. I had to send both remotes (MX-500 and HTZ-55DV) to URC for reprogramming since the MX-500 could not learn. Now works great. Had to pay shipping costs to URC, but well worth it.

Sugguest calling their support line for instructions (don't bother e-mailing, you won't get a response).
