Think about what you said - the IR line of sight worked fine. Go back and reload those codes. You don't have a code problem, you have an emitter placement problem.

Some move the emitter 1" away from the IR window; some put electrical tape with a pinhole over the IR window then mount the emitter; some use a paper clip as a mount to stick it 1" away from the front of the window....see this thread for another solution:

Make sure the blaster is off and the device is set for RF only, not RF/IR; make sure that when you are controlling that device the emitter is the only one firing.
