Thanks for the quick replies to my questions.
It's a pity that only the side button activates the back light. At least the six buttons adjacent to the screen should also activate the back light when pressed. Universal should give the user additional options in the setup relating to how the back light is activated? Don't other MX models have back lights that turn on with any button on the remote? That would be nice to have considering that the MX-900 does not have an activation sensor like the MX-950 has.
Is it relatively easy to see the display without the back light on in low light conditions?
