While I prefer the two-column LCD display, the 900 has the best hard-labeled button | layout of any of the URC remote IMO.
I totally agree with that. After trying the MX-800 for awhile last year, if it wasn't for my inability to press the side mounted backlight button, any of URC's remotes capable of controlling 11+ devices would work great for me. The AAA usage by the TX-1000 is good to know since I already use a Maha PowerFlex NiMH charger and batteries. :)
