Aegina is a woman from Greek mythology that had a child of Zeus. It's also one of the Greek islands. It's getting hard to come up with names that haven't been used by others I guess. ;-)
I tend to agree that the TX-1000 will have limited appeal, but it might be just the thing for Daryl and others that need a tabletop-style remote. If I remember correctly, I believe it uses 4 AAA batteries like the other URC remotes.
The MX-900 may replace my MX-850 in the family room. While I prefer the two-column LCD display, the 900 has the best hard-labeled button layout of any of the URC remote IMO.
