WOW! Thx Eric and Mike? The TX-1000 looks sharp and more user friendly for me. Price looks better too. I'd need to find as much details of it's design like the battery type it uses, it's dimensions. I have to prop my remotes up (depending on shape) vertical or horizontally on a stand. Looking at it's shape and dimensions I would probably need a new stand made.

Gotta question about the MX-950. I notice while it's on the charging base there's no support behing the top half of the remote. While it's on it's charging base (without holding the remote or charger) can you press the on/off buttons or any of the LCD buttons using a pencil eraser without it wanting to tip back or are the buttons too firm?
