Dish Network is currently rolling out software version 778 for the Dish 6000 receivers. The previous version (777) included a discrete HD/SD code workaround that NO LONGER WORKS with 778. We at DBSTalk have contacted Dish Network this morning about this and will report any reply we receive. In the meantime, if you have a Dish 6000 receiver that hasn't received the software upgrade yet, and use the discrete HD/SD workaround, set your 6000 to NOT automatically accept software upgrades.
