First, unless you're not even finding your brand of component in the database, I would try codes that are in there for other model numbers of the same brand. Most manufacturers seldom change their IR codes.

However, if there is nothing in there that will work, you'll have to copy/paste the hex codes (and it must be hex that starts with "0000") from the PCF to the Universal Browser. Personally, if there wasn't anything in the database for a particular device, I would just learn the commands from the original remote (or the Pronto) and only use hex codes to add discrete commands not on the original remotes. That would be much faster than doing it all with hex codes.
