If you have an MX-850 or lower, you can't. If you have
an MX-900 or higher, you can use the IR Database Navigator
to drag in individual commands. If you are using an MX-850
or lower, you can create a new device, bring in all of
the IR database commands for your TV, then use a shortcut
from your TV device to access the commands you want.
Otherwise, the way to do it would have been to start
with all the IR database commands, then erase the ones
you don't want/need and replace them with learned commands.
