Edmund,

That is just what I needed. I have not found my exact
TV (HLS 5686) but I did find some info on other HLS sets:
[Link: hifi-remote.com].
And this from a RC forum thread

"Device Code: 7.7 Function: 233 HDMI 2
0000 006D 0000 0022 0157 00AC 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015
0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015
0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015
0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015
0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015
0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015
0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0689
Based on both of these "233" would be the code to switch
to HDMI 2, hopefully? I think I'm on track now. Now
it will just be trial and error.

One more dumba$$ question. Would the proper procedure
for getting this command as part of a macro on the RF10
be: Save command to a 9910 button > learn that button
to a button on the RF10 > enter the taught RF10 button
in the macro sequence > delete taught button on RF10.

I looked at that file and no there aren't any efc/advanced codes listed. Prehaps one jp1 experts can changed them to efc's for you.

The commands that make up the macro have to already be mapped to a keys on the RF10, for as long as they are used in the macro. Thats why you put them shifted keys on the rf10, out of the way from day to day operation of the remote.
