Newbie here regarding an issue I cannot find anywhere in my searches.

My installer recently programmed my MX-850 to operate my new DirectTv HR20-700 DVR. Ever since, I experience occasional channel changes, rewinds, fast forwards, menu displays, etc. even though the remote control is sitting on the coffee table untouched. For example, I am watching channel 206, and the channel banner suddenly pops up, followed by entry of a "7", then another "7" and then channel 77 comes on. This is just an example-there seems to be no repetitive pattern. Its as if A GHOST IS OPERATING THE REMOTE!

For the first two weeks that I had the HR20-700, before the MX-850 was programmed to operate it, I used the HR20-700's remote in RF mode and I did not have this problem. Therefore, I assume the problem is with the remote and not the DVR. I have the MRF-300 base station with the RFX-150 antenna.

Can anyone offer any help or suggestions to solve this problem?
