It is programmable just like any MX-500.

Are you buying this from an individual or are you buying it from Sunfire? I would recommend you look for an MX-700 or MX-800 which is a much better remote plus it's PC programmable. Check with either of these two companies and they may be able to get you one. Plus they are both authorized dealers which means you get warranty and support.
