I've never been real enamored of that idea of having the dish send to a second TV over RF. I don't know why. But I really like using the dual tuner DVR on one TV. I know the dual can run off one RG6 because that's how mine is hooked up. If you want a switch number I can crawl back there and get it for you. As far as that whole backfeed thing... I'm clueless. I put a second receiver in my bedroom... actually it's a single tuner DVR. When we go to HD service I can switch out the bedroom receiver and have HD there as well. If I had used the second TV output of the dual tuner, I wouldn't get HD in the bedroom because TV2 through RF is SD only even on the dual tuner HD receivers. (why did someone think that was a good idea?).

If you want a second receiver for TV2 I'm sure I have at least one receiver (used) in the basement that was deactivated when we put the single tuner DVR in the bedroom.
