We just brought home the IS-TVHD30 and we have DirectTV tivo box model R52180. We found a code that makes the more common features (Mute, Volume, and Power) work on the DirectTV remote under the Satellite switch with no hinky switching back and forth business. Code 0100 under the Mitsubishi section. Inputting works, but you do have to switch over to TV, hit input--use the channel up or down to select, and press volume DOWN to set it.

Direct TV remote. However, I was able to find
one that does power on/off the TV and allows you
to adjust the volume.
Code 10150 under the Memorex brand seems to do
the trick. The only wacky thing (if your Direct
TV remote is like mine) is with the slide switch
acroos the top of the remote. Inorder to power
the TV on/off you'll have to slide the switch
to the TV position and use the PWR button just
below the slide switch, NOT the 'tv power' ON
button. Once the TV is on slide the switch back
to the Direct TV cyclone logo and you'll also
have volume control of the Insignia TV.
Kind of goofy, but I hope this helps.
