the ProntoPro TSU-7000 is discussed in the Pronto NG forum. The manual is OK, but does not describe how to do anything except use the SW (i.e. a manual on MS word would not describe how to write an essay, just how to use word)

there is a guide that is written describing how to make a config, http://prontowizard.com/

also creating a config for the pronto is a lot like web development. (placing and creating images, deciding what they do....) more then programming.

as for the 600 and 800, those are HTM remotes and you can find more info on them in the HTM forum. They are both RF remotes, but the 600 is not natively PC programmable, while the 800 is. For the 600 there is a third party product called IRclone that makes the 600 PC programmable
