Are you sure that it's not the ccf's back ground effecting the shade of the light? I personaly have never heard of this, since the back light isn't a "light" But a whole sheet of light. It should look like a pda's back light.

Try loading a different ccf, like the orginal ccf, to see what it looks like. If you want to keep the one that is on there, upload it to the pc first to save it though.
