Well, I been reading some info about x-10 lights and I have some basic info in my head but not the whole story. If you kind folks could point me in the right direct after reviewing my needs, I would greatly appreciate it.

Pronto IR -> x-10:
Ir543 (16 devices, one house code)? or han1 (27 IR commands)
If I want to do simple all on/off, individual on/off, or individual dimming which is the better choice? How are scenes different than individual dimming? If I want scenes, then I need the han1?

Lamp plug-in modules: what are the options and trade offs?

Overhead can lights: I have manual toggle light switch with a dimmer slide. Is there an equivalent switch that also has x10 capability or I don’t lose the manual control?

For a three-way x10 switch: do both switches need to be 10x? i.e. master/slave or can one be x10 and the other not?

I also have an overhead fan/light. I haven’t seen a combination x10 control for this which has dimming and speed control. Is there such an animal?

I know it’s all basic, but it’s all new to me.
