I have a current small Sony Pro-logic receiver with some good JBL speakers, and I'm going to upgrade to either a Denon or Onkyo mid level digital receiver. What I want to know, is it worth spending the extra 80% more for the receiver that is THX certified? Will I be able to tell that much difference in the sound quiality by going this extra mile? Thanks for the input!
