Yamaha has many discrete IR codes for ON/OFF and all inputes. If you use a programmable remote like the Philips Pronto the Yamaha is the very best no matter how much money you have to spend. Onkyo has no discrete codes. I'm not sure about Denon. Maybe someone else could give some advice about the availability of discrete codes for Denon.
