I've logged hundreds of hours with an audio control 1/3 octive RTA in my previous life as a competition car audio guru. While it is a very usefull 'tool' , DO NOT 'eq' your room to have a 'perfect' flat line! It will sound like a cheap pile of crap!!! The idea is to keep the transition between octive segments as smooth as possible. Idealy + or - 3db. For the best percieved sound, you will likely end up with a "boost in the bass frequency's, tapering down in the midrange(800 - 1.3k) and then slopeing gradually up in the higher frequencies as per taste.
Every day is a good day.......some are just better than others!
