I know that speaker choice is highly subjective, but having just moved up to HDTV, the time has come to upgrade my current surround speakers (Polk center, rear and subwoofer) and 2 ADF "legacy" bookshelf speakers for the front left and right. The ADF's are excellent speakers but obviously are unbalanced with the Polks. I am looking for excellent sound on both audio (cd's and FM), and balanced excellent 5.1 surround sound. I'd like to try and spend under $1k for the speakers. Anyone have any thoughts on the various Bose speakers? Would greatly appreciate all suggestions. Thanks in advance.
