From what I've read, this remote is identical to a Marantz RC5200. It's built in association with Denon, and is designated as a "professional" model. It comes with a training CD giving tutorials on multimedia uses etc.

Since the 5200 has been replaced by the 5400, this remote is no longer "state of the art". Biggest difference is that it's 4 color gray scale as opposed to 16 color gray scale in a 5400. Comparing it to the Pronto line, it ranks above a 2000 (due to the cursor pad and additional hard buttons) but below a 3000 (due to the 4 color grayscale).

You should also be aware of Marantz's policy of voided warrantee unless you purchase thru an authorized dealer, which basically means paying MSRP. Given what I've read, I'd look for a deal on a Pronto TSU 3000 instead, but YMMV.
