They're cheap, buy both! I like the look and feel of the 1994 (I've played with it in the RS store, I haven't bought one - yet), and the backlighting is a nice plus. But I bought a C7 out of blind luck before I even discovered this web site and learned of the undocumented features.

I *really* like the feel of the C7 and it was my first 'child', so I'm biased towards that. I also got a non-learner brother of it, the OFA BigEasy HT. So I don't really need a 1994, I just want one...
