You are welcome. The Cinema 7 IQ says to use code 0818 for your Philips Magnavox WEB TV.

First of all, please make sure that you re-assigned your vcr device key to a cbl/sat.

1- hold down the p key until the led flashes twice.
2- 992
3- cbl/sat
4- vcr

That should do it.

Next, try to assign a device code to your newly defined device key.

1- vcr (which now is really a cbl/sat)
2- hold down the p key until the led flashes twice
3- enter the manufacturer code: 0818

If the manufaturer code was entered properly you should get two led flashes right after you enter it. If not, (or the remote does not have that manufacturer code) you will get on long flash on the led.

It is possible that the 15-1994 does not support your WEB-TV box. My 15-1994 does not support my Sherwood HT Receiver but the Cinema & IQ does.

I was vey happy with the 15-1994, however, I just bought the Cinema 7 IQ (model #URC-7800) to compare it and I am really impressed with it. It will support my Sherwood receiver which leaves me plenty of memory to learn any special keys that might be needed later. Don't count it out! Radio Shack has a 30 day refund policy.
