I bought my RS 1994 today and ALMOST everything entered easily. I have a a Sony TV, a sSony VCR, a Pioneer CD, a Toshiba DVD, and an HK receiver, plus X-10 stuff i haven't hooked up yet. My two weak points are oriented to my receiver, the HK AVR-75. My entire system runs thru this receiver, so 1) I HAVE to be able to punch-thru volume to the receiver and cannot get it to work and 2) I have separate selection modes on the receiver for Digital Dolby, surround sound, and stereo modes and also need to be able to switch audio input lines from coax, to tv to optical depending on whether my source audio source is cable, DSS, or DVD. Can anyone help me make these two things work.
