Pat,
You need a IR to X-10 receiver to convert the IR signal from the remote to the line signal for X-10. I think the part number is IR543 or IR4040 (about 25). You can search this thread to find where to buy. Also RS has one for $39.99 (RSU10037703). They are all the same thing under different brands.
